COVID-19 Safety Precautions
Keeping our families and teachers as safe as we can is our highest priority.
What about masks?
In compliance with CDC guidelines and upon recommendation of Dr. Seth Sullivan, Brazos County Health Authority, all adults in all classes and children in Levels 4 and 5 will be masked with nose and mouth covered while in the studio. Those who are vaccinated can still harbor the virus in their noses and transmit the virus to others while feeling well themselves. Also, children are more susceptible to the Delta virus. We appreciate your help in keeping everyone well.
What about instruments?
Instruments will be thoroughly sanitized after each class.
What can I expect before entering the studio?
We ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before class. Hands will be sanitized before going into the classroom.
After having signs or symptoms of COVID-19, you and your child may return to class when the following criteria have been met:
- After 24 hours have passed since the end of fever without fever reducing medications
- At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared
- Symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) have improved
After having known close contact with someone who has COVID-19 you and your child may not return to class until after 10 days of self-quarantine which begins with the last date of exposure. Close contact means less than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes.
If you or a member of your family is diagnosed with COVID-19, notify us immediately so that we may notify the other members of your child's class.
